WHAT IS THE EXAM
READINESS SCORE?
The Exam Readiness Score (ERS) is a 0–100 composite score that measures exactly how prepared you are for your Praxis exam — updated after every question you answer.
Unlike percentage-correct trackers, ERS weights your preparation across five independent dimensions. You can know your content and still have a low ERS if your consistency, velocity, or mock performance are falling short. That gap is what causes most Praxis failures.
FIVE DIMENSIONS. ONE SCORE.
ERS is calculated from five weighted dimensions. Each dimension reflects a distinct aspect of exam readiness that raw content scores miss.
Domain Mastery
Your accuracy across every content domain on your target exam. Weighted by ETS difficulty distribution — weaker domains drag harder than strong ones lift.
Constructed Response Quality
Your AI-scored PLT written responses measured against the official ETS rubric (5 dimensions, 0–3 each). CR quality is the single highest-weighted predictor of PLT passage.
Study Velocity
The rate at which your domain mastery is improving over the last 7 days. Declining velocity signals plateau and triggers a domain rotation.
Session Consistency
How regularly you complete your 25-minute daily missions. Consistency compounds — a teacher who studies every day outperforms one who studies twice as long every three days.
Mock Simulation Results
Your scores on timed, full-length practice exams. Mock results are the final gate — PPS cannot reach 90% without at least two passing mock scores.
WHAT YOUR ERS MEANS
Every ERS band corresponds to a specific readiness state and a recommended action.
Critical
Significant gaps in foundational content. Daily missions targeting core domains.
Building
Progress visible. Velocity is building. No exam booking recommended.
Near-Ready
Approaching readiness. Mock exams recommended. PPS climbing toward 90%.
Pre-Declaration
Strong performance across most dimensions. PPS likely 75–89%. Sustain for 7 days.
Ready to Book
Declaration-eligible. PPS at or above 90% for 7 consecutive days with 2+ passing mocks.
WHY ERS BEATS PRACTICE TEST PERCENTAGES
Traditional practice tests tell you
- Your raw score on one test
- Which questions you got wrong
- Nothing about readiness trajectory
- Nothing about exam-day risk
ERS tells you
- Whether your readiness is improving or plateauing
- Which dimension is your ceiling
- When you have sustained readiness across 7 days
- Exactly when to book — not before, not after
