TERMS OF SERVICE

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using PraxisPass, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. These terms apply to all users including free tier, paid subscribers, and department members.

2. Description of Service

PraxisPass is a Praxis examination preparation platform operated by 25 Alpha LLC. The platform provides study sessions, AI-powered scoring, performance analytics, and a readiness signal (Exam Readiness Score / Pass Probability Score) to assist Maryland teacher certification candidates in preparing for Praxis examinations administered by Educational Testing Service (ETS). PraxisPass is an independent preparation service and is not affiliated with ETS, MSDE, or any school district.

3. No Exam Score Guarantee

PraxisPass does not guarantee any particular score or exam outcome. The Exam Readiness Score (ERS) and Pass Probability Score (PPS) are analytical estimates based on your study activity within the platform. These scores are not official score predictions from ETS, MSDE, or any accrediting body. Actual Praxis exam performance depends on many factors, including test-day conditions, question variability, and individual performance, that are outside the platform's control.

4. Account Terms

  • — You must be 18 or older to create an account.
  • — You are responsible for all activity under your account.
  • — One account per person. Sharing accounts is prohibited.
  • — Accounts are non-transferable.
  • — You agree to provide accurate information during registration and onboarding.

5. Payment Terms

Monthly subscriptions (Individual plan) are billed in advance at the beginning of each billing period. The Retaker Sprint is a one-time payment. Department plans are billed annually. All prices are in USD.

  • — Monthly plans may be cancelled at any time. Access continues through the end of the billing period.
  • — Refunds for subscription plans are available within 7 days of initial purchase or renewal if no more than 2 missions have been completed.
  • — The Retaker Sprint is non-refundable after the 28-day plan is generated and delivered.
  • — Payment processing is handled by Stripe. PraxisPass does not store payment card information.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • ✗ Use the platform to cheat on actual Praxis examinations.
  • ✗ Reproduce, distribute, or republish platform content or question bank materials.
  • ✗ Attempt to access other users' accounts or data.
  • ✗ Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or systematically access platform content.
  • ✗ Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the AI model or question bank.
  • ✗ Upload malicious files or content via the score report upload feature.

7. Intellectual Property

All platform content, question bank materials, scoring algorithms, and AI-generated outputs are the property of 25 Alpha LLC and licensed through its IP-holding entity. "Praxis" is a registered trademark of Educational Testing Service (ETS). PraxisPass uses this term descriptively to identify the exam type and is not affiliated with or endorsed by ETS. Users retain ownership of their submitted constructed responses.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

PraxisPass is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant uninterrupted service, accuracy of AI-generated content, or fitness for any particular purpose. The ERS and PPS are informational estimates, not guarantees of exam performance.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, 25 Alpha LLC's liability for any claim arising from your use of PraxisPass is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost employment opportunities, exam fees, or certification delays.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware. By using PraxisPass, you consent to this jurisdiction.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms with 30 days' notice via email and in-app notification. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
